Project Description:

Provide “Conceptual and detail designs” for  the Falevao independent water scheme for the year 2010.  Key components for the project includes the upgrade of a water intake, storage tanks, new pipe laying and new household connections.

Project Services:

Design, Construction and Supervision of 6 km of pipelines ranging from sizes DN15 to DN150, uPVC type including house connections and also rehabilitation of 1 new storage tank and one new water intakes and filteration.  The scheme will accomodate water supply needs to some 1000 people of the village of Falevao, Anoamaa. The key area of this project was conducting of a hydraulic modeling ensuring the hydraulics for the new pipeline is sustainable with the new pipe sizes and the demand.  The project was a joint effort of the Independent Water Scheme Association and the Falevao village water committee but all under the overall project management of the Ministry of Women, Community & Social Development.
